The best way to help the Yemeni people is to directly donate money and keep yourself updated on the issues these people continue to face. Below we have compiled unique and different ways to raise money for Yemen and raise awareness if you cannot donate money directly.
The FREERICE App
This free multiple-choice quiz game donates 10 grains of rice to people in need for every right answer you get. It provides education to everyone for free and helps end world hunger for free.

Envelopes and Jars
Partner with a local restaurant to leave donation envelopes or jars at their tables to get donors to leave a little extra change. If you can, bring these envelopes to work or ask your parents and family members. Pick up the envelopes once a week. Here is a template you could use. Just tape this on a big envelope or be creative!

Bottles and Can Drive
This environmentally friendly way of making money is am old method of raising money, but it is effective! Pick a popular location like a park, mall, or community center, and have people bring in their recyclables to exchange for money at the collection site. It’s a lot easier for people to just pop them in the bins right outside their front door, so consider sweetening the pot by offering to pick up donations or awarding an award or prize to the person who donates the most. It's 5 cents for most glass bottles, plastic bottles, and aluminum cans less than 24 ounces and 10 cents for equal to 24 ounces and larger.
Host or Join Contests!

Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. When an employee makes a donation, they'll request the matching gift from their employer, who then makes their own donation. In other words, some companies match your donation, and some even double and triple your donation!
